I'm really not sure why I wrote this, it's just something I feel strongly about. And the line about the tale of the mouse and the lion, you know, despite the fact that the lion wanted to eat him and was mean to him and lions and mice just DON'T help each other (according to basic social standards) the mouse put that all aside to help the lion, and the lion put his pride aside and allowed it to happen.

She sits on the bench
Everyday you see
Those lonely eyes
And the need of love
But you hide behind
Behind your dumb pride.
Seems we're all caught up
I'm getting fed up
With pride and lonliness
The tale of the mouse and the lion
I guess noone cares
We're all machines
With empty souls.
He waits on the bus
Everyday you know
He's still waiting
On something else
And your lost
In your dumb pride.
Seems we're all caught up
I'm getting fed up
With pride and lonliness
The tale of the mouse and the lion
I guess noone cares
We're all machines
With empty souls.
